This hotel is superb. The forest setting is calming, the decor is stimulating, the staff are so friendly and helpful, and the meals are delicious. A small, casual, outdoor celebration of Easter was an extra treat for guests.
We had a magical weekend in this hotel. Daniëlle and Dennis do everything they can to make you feel at home in their hotel. They think along with you for fun trips and know the area well. The food is delicious, the chef prepares a changing 3-course menu that satisfies your hunger after a cold day. The breakfast the next morning is extensive with only fresh regional products. We slept in the apartment, which is located right next to the hotel. The beds are comfortable and you have a beautiful view of the forests in which the hotel is located. If you want you can also cook yourself, the apartment has a spacious kitchen, but we opted for eating in the restaurant. The surroundings are fantastic and from the hotel you have beautiful walking routes (long and short) to explore the beautiful nature. What a nice place!!
Very cosy but quiet boutique hotel, very nice views, warm welcome with gluhwine on Christmas evening, beautiful rooms, splendid breakfast, great choices of wine, local beers, suburb Christmas 5 course dinner with a sauna / jacuzzi visit in the snow after. Staff very helpful and enthusiastic. New owners very customer centric, outgoing and go out of their way to assist and please their guests. Enough great sites to visit : Beito husky experience, snow rafting, skiing, wellness and beautiful restaurants in neighbouring villages
First of all - it's very designed place. From the parking place to restaurant - all of this countryside looking wooden paradise gives you that feeling of Old Good North. Not far-away-very-cold-north, but another one - natural, wooden and cozy place. It's a bit of mountain guest house style. But this particular one house much more hotel-style place. Everything new, clean. Stylish. Very nice restaurant.
Had a wonderful stay. Would highly recommend. Perfectly situated in a beautiful location. The 3 course dinner was absolutely delicious. Staff very friendly and attentive.
The food and service were spectacular. Highly recommend dinner, three courses you won't forget soon. I only wish we had planned more than 1 night and used it as a base camp to hike the 'nearby' mega park in the clouds.
Stayed in the Alpine Suite fantastic with a real Norway feel. Staff and service was excellent. The Chef prepared and outstanding meal for us with each course paired with great wines. A highlight of our Norway holiday.
